Steering column V8S
Discussion
Hi guys,
I am a new member of your community. My car is a V8S built in 1992 and it is one of the about 50 LHD cars. I live in Germany near Frankfurt. TVRs are exotical cars in Germany and almost unknown to most of the German population, so we have some problems about getting special informations as there are only 2 TVR dealers in Germany. I got an old wooden steering wheel (Xmas present) fabricated by "Mountney" which I want to use for my TVR. Now I need to know if the steering column of the V8S is really by origin a Ford steering column for the late 90s Sierra as a friend of mine told me yesterday. I want to use this wooden steering wheel for everyday use after restoring it, so I have to buy an adaptor. Nobody here can tell me how to get one.
Thank you all in advance for your help.
All the best for all of us for this driving season!

Hi friends,
thanks a lot for your help!
I think I can find now what I'm looking for.
One of these days I will try to post a photo of my car. By the way, z_chromozone, it has the same exterior appearance as yours -> same colour, same wheels... but my steering wheel happens to be on the other side... ;-)
Happy motoring!
