Racing Elise vs Street Corvette Video

Synopsis
A Lotus Elise modified for racing takes on a conventional Corvette on a the track. Now, the Elise is known as being a good track car with great cornering and down draft to keep it tidy and tight through the turns, it even takes of enjoyably when accelerating. The corvette is know for all that and being fast as hell! The Lotus catches the corvette at the turns for the most part, but after a couple of long straight ways, the Corvette's tail end is but a memory. Even so, the driver of the Lotus seems not very surprised, and he did put up a fight.

Nice video, great drive! very scary the Nürnburgring! to much for me to go flatout, I like to see where I'm going, and driving good around there you must have driven it a hundred times...but its a lovely circuit, and lovely cars always around there...

WOW!!

Man that circuit is fast in some sections! Good bit of racing from both drivers, clearly VERY diffeent cars.

Would love to get down there one day when i've done a couple of walshy days

Maybe this year we set up some kind of meeting at the Ring...and you don't need special insurance because its a street-cirquit(some rule this out though) but aslong as you never use the word racing its oké.
Last year I was there, its amazing and many points where you can look at others driving, and ofcorse drive it yourself for 15,-euro per lap(20+km) but becareful, its a tricky circuit with about 76? corners, but when the sun is shining, and not to many accidents happen( then they close the circuit for a while cleaning it) its gona be a wonderful day!
