Now i'm pd off!!!!

Just got my car through its MOT on Thursday (first time).

Left the car on the road and the passenger side wing mirror has been knocked off either by a passing car or some st!

Either way no note was left and there was no knock at the door to apologise!

Now my car isn't flash but it is my pride and joy and i'm fuming!

I suppose its lucky that it is just a standard unpainted VW mirror either way its gonna cost me and i'm skint!

Some people are bds!

Sorry to hear about the mirror - happened to my Griffith once -
you may be in luck though, I think some VWs use a standard
TVR part, might find it cheaper at your local Tiv dealer.

Sorry

At least your two events happened in the right order. The left hand mirror on my bike got broken the day before the MoT. I didn't even have the minor consolation of having some random prat to get mad at. I broke it myself, knocking the bike off the stand while putting the wheels back on after having new tyres fitted.

Bloody annoying. Daughter left her car outside my house when she went away over New Year.

Some wat knocked her driver's side mirror off on New Year's Eve.

The road's a cul de sac, half a mile from the main road, and nothing else was parked on the road for a couple of hundred yards.

How the hell did that happen...?

Yeah thats true!

When it stops raining going to go out take off the broken mirror before it wrecks my paintwork.

Ho Hum! One of those things I suppose.

Come on, lets see some of the 'tank half full' spirit The car might have been nicked by joyriders (Im a joy rider technically speaking, but only because my girlfriends name is joy) who performed some insane manouvers, ended up feeling guilty and brought the vehicle back early, and by golly - just thinking about it, isnt it wonderful that only the mirror is knackered!
