I used to enjoy the "Jaguar Driver".
And as a member of the Daimler and Lanchester owners club MrsU used to get the curiously titled "Driving Member" :snigger: each month and very good it was too.
One of the problems with Sprint is that, as previously mentioned, it has pages and pages of the same ads by the same advertisers each month which is rather tedious. I notice this month that the RO's reports are at the back, after all the classifieds and other ads. I actually missed them the first time because I hit the classifieds and assumed that was the end of the mag.
This months mag contains 2 1/2 pages explaining the benefits of being a member (to people who are already members), a double page article on the Sag (again!), a 1 page Bonne Route plug featuring the sag, a 1 page article about Phil Keene driving a Sag, 3 pages of the editors reminiscences of 2005 (including the suprising news that Hexham HC had closed!!!), a good article about the LMES race in Turkey, a 2 page article about petrol that could have fitted into 1, a 2 page article on MPH that seemed a bit superfluous, something about starter motors, an intersting article by Julian Smith of Ride Drive, picture this (still 3 pics but on 2 pages instead of 1), a 2 page plug for the Surrey Champagne run, 2 pages on Chimaera chassis or something, ROs reports and 21 1/2 pages of ads.

I would like to see some of the advertisers change their content, same stuff over and over, my only complaint!

In it's defence....lots of Members are unaware of the benefits to be had by being a Member of the TVRcc.
It's a question that is often asked of the ROs and we asked if the editor would give the benefits an airing.......
Just the Club listening to the ROs.......I don't have an issue with that.
It won't be in every issue...it's just a reminder..........

), and the other night, I perused their monthly mag, Enjoying MG. I spent over 2 hours reading it! It had really intersting DIY stuff in it, from re-trimming the interior to slight cosmetic changes. It also explained in great detail the performance upgrades that can be carried out on the K series engine, plus a round up of the best aftermarket suspension packages, all written by people who had no loyalty to any company, so it was totally unbiased - I'm not really into MGs, but the mag was great and an enjoyable read...............
