on a similar note, is anyone getting old out there? every week that goes by I get about 7 days older and worse still, it's been happening to me since I was born! has anyone any cures out there for this terrible degenerative disease?

she hasnt turned up to work today

I had man flu a week ago I wasn't allowed to luxuriate in the traditional style as I had to move house though And man flu's only good if you're meant to be at work

I've had a fairly bronchial cough for about three weeks which is making my ribs hurt now. Not sure how to get rid of it (nor is doctor) so just waiting for it to pass.

Yeah I was the same...flu before xmas-then it passed...then it came back again...now streaming cold.So bored of it now.At first it was fun feeling sorry for myself and currying sympathy,but now its just dull and everyones sick of my moaning.

Put loads of layers of clothing on,then walk in the fresh air for an hour a day or more plus eat little and often to stock up your imune system.

had it since Christmas Day, right barrell of laughs the "holiday" was. Still, first time I've been glad to be temporarily living with Boss (happens to be father in law ) so am off work till better without having to bother going for sick notes or any of that crap!

I had the flu over Xmas.

Thank god it gave me an excuse for being a miserable scrooge, and not visiting relations, pretending to like people, smelly dogs, kids, etc.

I had flu last year and had to take 3 weeks off work (first time off ill in 18 years), I felt ill for a month or so and had a bronchial cough for about 5 months.
