Hi Dale, following our conversation yesterday, I checked up and the Ashby Folville (Carrington Arms) event is the 2nd Tuesday of the month. However, I don't know when they are going to start again. I'll probably have a run out there in Feb to find out when they start and I'll post on here. When it's on, we'd be more than happy to meet up somewhere en route if time it suits you (perhaps Longers would join up too?).

Dale and I did talk about going last summer but I ran out of time with getting married, work on the house, oh yes and a "day" job...!

I like to think that this year I'll be able to make at least 1 Tuesday during the summer though so keep me posted.

Excellent! Ian, if you've not been before, and it's like last year you'll be amazed at the numbers that go. At one of the 2005 events my lad counted 45 Lotus 7's (and similar looking cars). Plus many bikes, some very old cars (I've seen a racing Bugatti there), vintage bus, road going quads, several 'mod' type scooters - something for everyone.

Dale, Tony very much appreciated you both waiting - and the sound of your motors! He's still thinking about buying a Tiger, but I may persuade him to go for a V8S yet!
