New Years celebrations in Birmingham??
Discussion
Once again my new years plans have disintegrated!!! HELP!! Any suggestions of good places to go in Brum?? The Custard factory looks alright, but £37???!! +drinks will probably be hideously expensive too.
Just want to go out with a few of my mates and have a laugh to finish the year, all suggestions most welcome!!
Cant believe this has happened again.

We used this place 4-5 years ago, we did the dinner/party/b&b package. I can't recall prices etc, but my memory is that everything went fine and we had a great time and the cost wasn't at all out of order. They have a footbridge that crosses the road into (I think) Centenary square, where Brums official celebrations were held. We were able to go across to see the new year in and then leg back into the residents -only bar.
Its a big place, so you never know, might be worth trying.
Oh yes, just remembered, the next day many of the shops in Brum were open so we were able to go in for some retail therapy. There weren't too many people in town, so I ended up doing quite a bit of clothes shopping, something I hate, so that was another very pleasant added bonus. This was a 4-5 years back as I said, so I can't say how the retail therapy would be now.
I'd definitely be willing to do that sort of thing again though, it was all good fun.
