E53 X5 Insurance - Bell Direct?
Discussion
Hello,
Has anyone used Bell Direct insurance with a) an X5, b) a BMW or c) at all? Most specifically, has anyone had to use them for a claim etc?
I am currently looking for insurance renewels on my '03 X5 4.4i Sport and Bell Direct are cheaper by nearly 50%!! Swiftcover being the nearest rival.
I just wanted to guage any experience of Bell (who are Admiral, I believe) before snatching their hands off!
Cheers,
Phil.

Hi - one drawback with BellAdmiralDiamondHeffalump cover is their policy on extras and higher specifications. They will treat every car as being of basic spec even if you declare the extras. To take a simple example if a car can come with manufacturers alloys but is also available with steel wheels and you have a model with alloys should your alloys be replaced by bricks one night they will pay for steel wheels only ! Not good for your wallet.
