ELISE 111R ECU KIT OR PIGGY BACK

somebody know an ecu kit programmable or a piggy back good for the Elise 111R?

Some people are working on them, don't have names but I'm assured that the results of at least one attempt to remap a 111R with a programmable ECU should be available around Feb/Mar time.

Various discourse has been done on this subject on SELOC I believe, and maybe also on here, will be interesting to see what can be achieved. Not holding my breath though...

The lotus remap is so good that Toyota wanted to know how it was done. I am not holding my breath for anything bretter.

I know of a couple of guys behind the scenes working on a remap. Lotus have to comply with emmissions regs fuel and durability issues so I'd be surprised if it cannot be bettered in some way. I did some research and a few US tuners have lowered the cam switch over point but only really an option if it suits mods - typically manifolds etc. Even then most only did it by 200-500rpm. There are uprated cams but they don't do anything to radical.... bit over 200bhp.

Save your money for now and await the results

I think you and I may know the same individual who has an interest in this and broken cars Lawrence. Will be interesting to see what the outcome is.
