I shall be seeing in 2006 at the top of a mountain. I shall be quaffing copious amounts of silly juice, dry humping bushpigs and then finding a big snowy jump to break myself on. Happy New Year!

Juggling a shipment of Mustang parts, collection from Heathrow, fitment and having a new baby due about the 7th January. After a month off, I'll return to work to find I don't know how to do it any more and feel grossly resentful that I'm not a multi-millionaire able to live abroad.

Well, 2006 is going to be an interesting year for me! It seems that my recent temporary promotion is now permanent and I will be one of the senior managers for the company I work for. Interestingly its a lot more responsibility, work and planning but critically a lot more money (though they fired the last person in this job so I do run the risk of being out of employment if I cock up!).

What this means is I am going to be busy as hell and critically looking for that M5 that I promised myself, as a reward for getting this job. Probably not this month, but closer to August / September in reality. Now, how do I go about buying one then? Probably should start with a test drive at least...

Or live in a tent, pray to Porritt, let Tony and the Eurocrat pinko-greens tell you how and where and where and how you can travel, what you can buy, and how to recycle your intestinal gases. Democracy at work here which will be some PHers cup of new year resolution tea. Each to their own. Scroll down to the vote, which as always isn't the precise way to phrase a sane choice but there it is
