New TVR Company Website

Has anyone seen the new website yet (www.tvr-eng.co.uk) ?. A big improvement on the old one, but with anomalies as far as car spec's are concerned. As an example the Tuscan SP6 is quoted at 365bhp, whilst the T350 & Tamora engines are quoted at 350bhp. Are these engines not the same ?. Also, the Sag & Tusc S engines are being quoted at 380bhp !. Is this TVR trying to bring Blackpool horsepower in line with everyone else's measure ?. Also, top speeds are now being quoted as being in excess of 160mph only.

What are other peoples thoughts on the new site ?.

imho not so much new, as just a few minor updates/changes...

Does the About TVR, and the Virtual Factory tour work for you??? doesn't for me

And the dealer locator seems to have not changed at all (same as last year), (one or two dealers have changed though ) ie click on map/region and get a list.

Or am i missing something, deleted cache/refreshed still the same
ie exp v 6, am i hitting technical probs?

Had a look all this morning, deleted cache's, old one still there.....

Topic gets discussed abit, ie how out of date the old one is.....

For a few minutes, no website at all. same url

Then a single page with text.... same url

Now it all works..... And a brand new one.....


What went wrong, has this been around for a while, but someone forgot to point the url at the new website?????

As it was not just me that went to the old one?

All this personal attention by TVR to persuade me to buy a car
Spoke about a better new car warranty ages ago, what it should be, : it happens
Spoke about issues with residual and fears due to legacy s6, used approved warranty happens.

Talk again about Website and business sense bad, huting sales: positive ideas put forward/made
ie make more 0-100 times, etc,etc,etc

NEW WEBSITE announced/launched the SAME day....

Vast improvement in the main, professional looking and sharp etc.... bit too much scrolly up and down for my liking with each main page before scrolling being dominated by a picture meaning you have to scroll to read anything, but still gets a from me.

Like the link at goes to the dealer in russia anyhow if you take the address out of the mispelt link it goes allway to hear www.tvrcars.ru/ a russian version ofthere old site

There was something mentioned about this in EVO, they are now quoting more realistic power figures and got quite close on the Dyno too, although still a little short. But even then goes like stink

I guess they need to be more realistics if pushing into the US where someone might try suing for the missing horses. And IIRC there is some German legislation about power claims too.
