Can someone tell me how to get subtitles on Sky? We've got the Mother in Law staying and she can't hear the TV even with it turned up full. It occured to me that subtitles might help her.

I'm sure it was 888 on normal TV/Text but can't see how to work it on Sky?

Cheers

I have Sky plus and if you press the help button when veiwing a channel it pops up a dialog box and gives you the option of subtitles if they are available.

Thanks Mikey - I've found it - I'd looked for ages and as soon as I posted it I managed to find the option (it's on services on "normal" sky if anyone is interested!)

This works on normal Sky boxes too, if anyone was wondering.

I couldn't possibly comment - there's nothing wrong with her hearing by the way - it's just the way the programmes are made......
