Indeed. Seems like a lot of cash for some circuitry to drive three LEDs at differing brightnesses.

I have sort of got the same thing. Its an EGG shaped object that has 3 LED's that go though a phase of colours - using PWM I presume, way out at night. What about these rainbow LEDS you always see on EBay?
