Good source for cross drilled rear discs?

Anyone know? - mine are on last legs - was planning on getting some larger custom jobs made up at Bob Green, with std calipers spaced off - but do not have time or cash at the moment.

If there is an off the shelf kit to go bigger and space off the std caliper - please fire my way.

Cross drilled discs are the work of the devil. Maybe if you buy the expensive cast ones they might be OK, but I've heard no end of horror stories about drilled discs, and had a few of my own. Grooved, dimpled etc are fine.

I knew I'd get the cross-drilled devil deal - ok any idea on larger disc (lets forget the drilled - BG probably to the good stufff) and spaced off calliper kit. Was thinking about 285mm (to balance out front - 300mm with alloy bells and TVR CP6600 AP calipers).

How long can you wait Jon. Ian at Godspeed Brakes did an excellent job with the Brembo kit he put together for me, but it took a little while and quite a few phone calls to sort out.

Tim - tried 3G - do not do bigger ones - uprated std size (see what they offer) may go with this for the time being! Then get to BG or Brembo for larger ones when these wear out.

What do you make of the AP strap drive discs? Have you heard anything about any TVR installations yet? I'm wondering if a set will fit the Cerb and alleviate the vibration problems that sometimes occur.

AH - yes had seen them when Cruising! there site a while back.

Do look goo but changing pads seem a tad awkward if you cannot lever against the disk.

Important note: When replacing brake pads with strap drive discs fitted, do not push the pistons back in to the caliper by use of a lever against the discs.
If this is done then the disc straps may be distorted and this can cause disc runout, resulting in possible brake vibration. More information Here

Is vibration bad on yours then - presume tried new discs.

Not too bad no, but I can hear the discs and pads rubbing on each wheel rotation, if the discs have been warmed up by harder stops.
