Find out here!

I got described as a road hog! Now don't look so surprised, we're not implying that you're a bad driver, just that you can sometimes overlook the needs of other drivers. Whilst others may stall at the traffic lights, or completely forget to indicate at a roundabout, you know that you can perform all the driving tasks on automatic pilot. Not only that, but you probably whizz right past them as you negotiate potential situations on the road with ease. The problem is that not everyone has your driving abilities, or road sense, and may not anticipate that you're going to overtake them. The real rule of the road is that everything comes down to the driving abilities of the worst drivers, not the best, so if you assume that everyone is a gremlin driver and give them extra space we we'd happily describe you as king of the road!

Quite pleased with that description actually!

your driving knowledge stops you being a road hog!

We get the distinct impression that you would give us a run for our money if we challenged you on the Highway Code. It looks to us as if you're someone who believes that if there's a job to be done then it should be done properly. After all, busy roundabouts have lanes for a reason and life would be much easier if everyone used them the way they were intended. Perhaps your inquiring mind likes to understand things properly, or that you have just built a natural knowledge of the unspoken laws of the road. Whatever the reason, the only times we expect to see you getting in a flap behind the wheel is when the other drivers manage to do something really daft!

I'm pretty chuffed with that appraisal. Joining the IAM was well worthwhile

According to the survey I'm a road hog, and according to the chav in a Megane Sport who got out of his car I'm a hog too - despite having right of way.

Nevermind I just laughed at him and said 'merry xmas' - really pissed him off

scared but happy

Your high sense of morals stop you being a road hog!!

Morals WTF????

Anyway they like me bless 'em.

There's no question that we would like to have you as a friend as we can detect that you have a higher sense of fair play than in the average person. What comes around goes around, especially when you're waiting for someone to let you onto a congested roundabout. We know that someone who is less likely to carve up a little old lady or jump the traffic lights is just as unlikely to take advantage of a friend or work colleague. If only there were more drivers like you there would be a lot less road rage and far fewer accidents! This is not to say that you're an angel behind the wheel. We know all about those times when the speedo climbs a little higher than it should, or even the times when you might sneak into a parking space that someone else has equal claim to. The main thing is that you wouldn't feign a limp after illegally parking in a disabled parking space!

your relaxed nature stops you being a road hog!

Some people change from Jekyll to Hyde the moment they get behind the wheel, but not you. We expect that you are much calmer than the average driver, even when that sales rep cuts you up without notice on the inside lane. You're content to let other people believe that they're boosting their position in the hierarchy just because they drive faster or take risks. You probably feel that you have nothing to prove and no doubt realise that people who need to constantly assert their presence on the road have low natural esteem. We're not saying that you never lose your temper when you're driving, but we'd like to bet that it will be over something more important than missing the traffic lights!

Might even be true!
