Quiet night in tonight, after far too many 4am late nights recently. Was supposed to be out in London village, but that's been cancelled on account of the organiser's mother being taken very ill.

Will open a bottle or two of white (Sancerre, perhaps) and watch Have I Got News For You, QI and my new Bill Bailey DVD later.

Then tomorrow a few of us are off to see Duran Duran at the NEC for a bit of light entertainment...

Was just settling down after a good ruby and onto my third Cobra. Now in danger of enjoying it all over again due to a Wikipedia/OXO/Vixpy1 connection - may need to go and lie down in a darkened room.......

Finished the G&T some while ago, currently here 'cos I'm too lazy to get food. Diana Krall on the hifi, but will soon be turfed off in favour of Space Cadets: The Great Reveal.

I have just got home afer firearms officers closed my street. Decided to go to a greek restaurant & sit it out, 2 bttles of wine & a job lot of mousakka later, I am home, flitting between PH & trying to find out what actually happened. Most excitement I have had all week
