Our waste disposal unit in the sink in the kitchen is past it's sell-by date and we now need a new one.

Might seem like an odd question here - but any experts on PH who could provide guidance on what to look for and how to fit?

Many thanks in advance,

K

Should nobber actually be spelled with a K prefix?

Roly,

Cheers for the suggestion - but I'm pleased to say that our pedal bin is fully functional, and I guess will remain so for some time to come yet.

Thanks for the constructive help

I did already figure out about getting it the right way up - but it's which one to get. Are they all the same size/volume? Are they all the same?

I can safely admit that I've never bought one before and know nothing about them - other than what they do.

Constructive replies gratefully received - more for Mrs. Ks sanity than my own.

The more you pay, generally the quieter they are in operation.
Also, (more expensive) ones that have an auto-reverse feature in the grinder tend to get blocked less easily, which is good.

We recently bought an In-Sink-Erator which has performed flawlessly so far.
