TVR tuners gather at Autosport

ACT manifolds for TVRs

The Autosport show next month will see a strong presence from TVR tuners, including induction specialist ACT, which will be sharing a TVR performance and tuning stand with Austec Racing and JP Exhausts.

On display will be:

• Modified TVR Tamora
• Some "very special" alloy wheels
• AJP engine with various new developments and components
• High spec cylinder heads
• Special TVR manifolds
• Carbon fibre display including airboxes and trumpets for various makes
• DVD display -- and much more

ACT said that "whether you own a TVR or not we welcome all Pistonheads members".

TVR Performance stand is 8406, and the show runs from 12-15 January 2006 at the NEC International in Birmingham.

Carbon fibre is my one real weakness....the c.card is buggered, I can feel it wilting already.

I think this is Austec's own car. I'm very interested in this as I plan to get mine souped up a bit next spring.

Yes I know, notionally Pauls wifes car , just wondering whats happened to it. Last I heard it was going to be a blower but don't know whether it happened or not .

That part didn't (the blower). It is having a 'tweaked' 4l (ILO the 3.6) built right now, and the body was being sprayed t'other day - won't say what colour - suffice to say it's LOUD!

Saw it today. The colour is fantastic Still a bloody big hole where the engine should be, but Paul tells me there will be something special in there

Sounds like he'll be using Austec's new engine dyno to good effect

We're nearly there , (i was looking for the exited but feeling knackered smiley) Paul has just finished the complete rebuild of the Tamora it looks stunning in Lamborghini orange it's worth visiting the stand just to see that and don't forget to ask him about the engine spec
Our friend Mark Adams will be guesting at the weekend to chat and generally give loads of free advice.
JP Exhausts will have a quality display and plenty of staff to hand.

Out of interest is Pauls 'new' Tam the old yellow one (i.e. the wifes) or did he pick up the one on here that needed a new lump .

I won't be able to make it to the show. Can you post on here or point those of us interested in the right direction for photos and specs of the modified Tamora? Are there any cosmetic changes over the factory Tamora?

Watcha Harry, no it's the "old" one, only slightly better than a new one, does that make sense

Yes a few subtle changes and i imagine it will get some coverage on here after the show,
