I had a disturbing experience just now when texting a mate.

I included the word 'Leeds' in the message. When I got to 'Lee', predictive texting suggested 'Leeanne'

I know it's only a Motorola V55. Have I been sold a Chav model? Should I take it back?

Type "way" and it predicts Wayne or Waynetta, definitely take it back.

I frequently text my cousin, and for some reason the predicitive text keep coming up with 'anus' when I'm typing in 'cous'. I have to be careful as she'd not be amused to get a text from me saying "Hi anus, hows it going"

Outrageous slur.

I would have thought that the phone would recognise that my grammatically correct texts indicate that the owner is a more cerebrate life form.

Predictive what? I have a Nokia 9210 (housebrick)... about the only thing you can predict is that it would give you a broken toe if you droppped it... it sems to run Windows NinetyShite judging by the time it takes the OS to boot up. Heaven forbid you'd need it in an emergency.

I know I quoted it a few weeks ago but this is an actual text sent by a friend of mine when more than a little pissed a feeling rather randy.

"You filthy chubi. I want to shove my coal up your damp puppy then go down on your hot steaming aunt and give you a good vomiting."

I had to quote it again as we still haven't stopped taking the piss for it.

I'm ashamed to say that I understand all of that and have to watch some of my texts carefully

Odd, seeing as they have a different number of letters...

Actually, being a nursev, I checked and found it adds a 'v' for the 't'

Slightly off topic but still along the chav lines. My Mam is a childminder and when she was dropping the kids off at primary school there was a new slightly chav looking Mam dropping her very chav looking child off. One of the kids that my Mam looks after was playing with said child so my Mam ended up talking to Chav Mam. My mam asked what the chav childs name was. The reply "Stacey" "Really" Mammyb says "My daughter is called Stacey which way do you spell it (Stacey, Stacy or Stacie)" "Its spelt S,T,A,Y,S,E,A" Mammyb just nodded and smiled.

I'm sorry but that is just cruel.

I've never managed to work out if my Motorola V70 has predictive text or not .. I don't care as it's by far the most stylish phone ever made I also manage to make plenty enough spelling mistakes as it is without technological intervention.
