right...

every time ive been to see chums in london the bars we've been too are crap and not what u'd expect from the supposed best night out place in england.

so any suggestions of somewhere 10-15 people would be able to get in next sat in central london thats fun without being cant hear yourself speak and that doesnt shut at 11.30 and that contains excellent eye candy?

Get on the guest list at a decent bar in the west end:

Although if your group is made up of 15 blokes you might have issues getting in anywhere to be honest.

Oriel?

If so, I've never seen 18 yr old piss heads in there. More of a late 20s bar....

Waxy O'Conners is good if you like a pub type place but with a bit of a bar feel to it.

Could never spell it.

Things must have changed, when I lived up that way it was a nice place to go but the weekends attracted young 'uns, who whilst good value got annoying.

The Bed Bar can be quite good too.

But on a Sat, hmmmm tricky.

The Blue Bar at the Berkeley. Great waitresses and cocktails. Very expensive and smart.

or for somewhere slightly different you could wander up to Shoreditch and Hoxton Square. Loads of bars, pubs and clubs and plenty of places to eat as well.

My fave is Bar Kick a portuguese/brazilian bar on Shoreditch high street; ice cold beer, great cocktails, great food and loads of bar football machines - excellent fun.

edited to add that you do get some cracking eye candy as well

It's a happy hunting ground, especially if your in one of the smaller rooms, it's almost impossible not to break the ice if your'e there with a couple of mates and there's a group of fit American girls on the next table. Happy days.

The Goat In Boots on the Fulham Road is particularly good - not too pub like but ver nice. Kensington Roof Gardens is nice too. Errr...Can't think of anywhere else at the moment but anywhere in South Ken and Chelsea is good - loved living there...Sheffield is dire in comparison.
