I spent £27 in the Body Shop t'other day - all well and proper - until it turned up as a debit AND a credit on my account..What do I do? Is it a case of I win because they screwed up, or will I have to pay it back out again? (and my conscience is playing havoc with my brain at the moment..) All help appreciated!!

I'd get in touch with your bank and find out what's happening with the transaction. Is it worth the guilt knowing that those goods haven't been paid for? Its only £27......

Contact my bank?? I've got a better chance of getting hold of the late pope! These are the people who've failed to deliver a credit card 4 times in a row!! They have no excuse..they just keep saying errr I dunno at lot

I know its only £27 but its more the principle - and also from previous experience I've been lumbered with bank charges when something has gone wrong that isn't my fault...that I do object to - I wouldn't mind being charged if they had done something useful!!!!

Wait and see if it gets debited again. I had the same thing yesterday, my statement says debit, credit and then debit again. Weird.
