Needing to re-charge the battery each weekend and having difficulty starting the car, which is garaged, I'm sure a new battery is needed. The existing one is rated at 40AH, whereas the manual mentions 57AH. On top of that, as it's only weekend use, I'm thinking of something 'heavy-duty' (ie. for diesel cars?). However, space looks tight between the wing and the heater box for anything too (physically) large.

Any recommendations ?

Tks

I recently purchased one from a company called The Battery Centre Limited. I told the guy my handbook said it was 57ah, and he showed me a parts list which stated it should be 40ah.
I purchsead the 40ah one & it spins over a treat.

I think it is their own make. The code on the invoice is BAT015N. The phone number for THE BATTERY CENTRE LTD is 01792 774528.They can probably give you more info.

The 57ah was a 13 plate battery that is no longer available..the best replacement would be a 015 and the best AH I've seen is 48. Adrian
