Finally...back on the road again!!

At last, after 19 weeks and 6 days (not that I was counting you understand!), I've got my Tuscan back - good as new

Got to say a HUGE thank you to Paul, Alex, Chris and everyone else at Austec for doing such a Stirling job - it really looks and drives superbly.
....not that the roads and weather are condusive to 'enjoyable' motoring at the moment

Now then, I've got a fair bit of catching up to do, so.....when's the next Essex meet and Surrey Rolling Road session......

BTW, just worked out that I saved approx. £1000 in fuel alone, so even after paying out for the insurance excess, I'm still quids in

That's great news. You showed me your car (or what was left of it!) at the Austec Open day. Not supprisingly you didn't look very happy, so good to hear it's all smiles again. How many hours work was that then?!

I think it was about 100 hours just to change the chassis!

The bulk of the time has been spent waiting (and waiting, and WAITING!) for bits to turn up from TVR since they do not allow anyone else to supply parts.....
