I need to trace 2 people.
Apart from 192.com anyone got any suggestions on finding them?

Anyone else avoiding the "get them to lie down and then use a pencil" joke?

In a bad way as they did a runner owing me money and I need an address to send court papers to. Friendsreunited.co.uk seems to be down at the moment :-(

Cheers anyway though

I happen to live with a private detective who does this sort of thing for a living...... Obviously they charge, but add that to what your owed...

They owe me about £6k,

I have bank details, national insurance numbers previous addresses, next of Kin addresses.

Next of Kin won't pass current location on. Electoral Roll shows address they lived at before they legged it.

Sounds to me like you need to get someone legal involved. That way the Next of Kin can be threatened with a charge of obstructing justice or the like and will most likely give over the info you need.

Contact PHer Muncher, he traced someone for me a couple of years ago, recieved their final payment yesterday as it happens.

Alternatively there are a few online tracing companies who can do it, reasonably inexpensive. If you do serve papers on them make sure you do it to their current address, mail redirections dont count in court, even if you have a signature.

Use a tracing agent.

We use them all the time - a solicitor should normally retain the services of them.

Costs about £30 to find them and they're very very thorough.

Just tried 192.com and found everyone that i lost contact with.
The scary part is that for a couple of quid you can buy the details off 192.com so you have their full details isn't this going the data protection act?
