Badly lit roundabout plus wet leaves plus wanting to get home to bed at 4 in the morning equals full on sideways non-recoverable action.
In a ka thats quite a moment.
This is why the bike stays indoors over the winter. anyone else not feeling the love for the autumnal tree dandruff?

Yup! I hop on a scooter for the short journey to the train station - absolutely deadly if your not fully awake (at 5:30 am for me)...

Had some very "awakening" moments recently!

Wet leaves + motorcycle = kiss the tarmac time (a bit like chico time only less painful!)

Bike tucked up in garage and using the Toerag at the moment.

Keep looking in a bike and pondering but it simply ain't worth it.

Far too much shite on the roads right now.

Didn't First Great Western use them once as an excuse for their trains being late?

"The O 6 30 to London Paddington.....will be delayed by.....20.....4......minutes.....due to leaves on the line."

I had to go pick up someone's Jag today to deliver it back to them, it was in a secure area with security guards, who were quite amused (as was I) when i lit up the rear wheels and barely moved when they raised the barrier to let me out!

I drove very carefully the rest of the way...

GNER actually publish a "leaf timetable" Having hit a tree minus the motorbike I was supposed to be on, I can vouch for their slipperiness.

Message from God the other night... "you know that rather nice bend, it'll have wet leaves on it". Approach bend with caution... headlight picks up loads of leaves. Negotiate safely. Thankyou Lord.
