I wondered if anyone worked in the carpet business? I many need to ask a favour.

Not in the carpet business ... sorry.

But if your favour relates to the fitting of aforementioned items, I'd strongly recommend buying a carpet kicker (£20 from B&Q) and do it yourself. Save a fortune, and usually get better results than from a pro ...

Aye, I know what you mean.

Had a local hooker in to re-carpet the lounge and she made a right hash of it.

Funny thing was, when I phoned her she said she was a great lay.

Given the carpet munching potential of this post I'm suprised the smuttyness took so long to arrive. People must be a bit sleepy this morning.

Have you ever tried to lift a roll of carpet? I'd get a man who could in every time. Far cheaper than physio to repair the damage to your back.

A mate of mine runs his own Carpet business ..... do you need anything laying ?

(he's based in London...... so probably wouldn't travel 'oop Nort' unless it was a large job)
