HPI check ?

This is probably a stupid question ... but is it wise to get an HPI check when purchasing from a dealer or do dealers normally do this ?

We Experian/HPI any vehicle that comes into our stock, no matter what marque, age, condition etc it might be.

main dealer i would not worry, any one else just do it. find a friend in the trade as it's cheap for them to do.
