M3 -Snow Way.

Tried to get through the snow to work today, hopeless. Not that i brought it for its snow ploughing . Still bloody good fun until i lost my bottle.

Everyone always goes on about how bad BMWs are in snow. I found this to be true until last year I acquired a set of 16" wheels of e-bay and some proper snow tyres from mytyres.com and bolted them to the 535i. The difference on slippery roads was amazing, loads of grip. Dry road handling became a bit jelly like, but at least with a spare set of wheels easy enough to change to suit weather. Well worth it if you live somewhere where is snows occasionally like Aberdeen (or Devon).
