Am I the only one that thinks this series is a little... lack lustre?

I had the misfortune. My girlfriend is a devotee and has been trying to indoctrinate me for some time. I thought last night's programme was slightly less funny than when I caught the mumps.

In general I love it (mainly because the Grauniad hate it), but there are some sketches that I really think should have been laid to rest by now - the Fat Fighters and Bubbles DeVere for a start. There's only so much you can do with those characters.

Good to see Mr. Mann popping up in the shops asking for awkwardly unobtainable items though!

No unfortunately - one of my fave characters.

Do wish they'd get rid of bubbles though - not the funniest!

Oh yeah, Ray McCooney. There's a reason for that - they were using a real hotel to film in (all the others are sets) and it was getting expensive.

Still think he's the funniest one though. "That is a window, you do know that don't you?" "ehYeeeeeees!"

Im in a minority on this one. its not funny to me at all. In fact things like incontinent women / mentaly ill peole as objects of humour are extremely distateful.

Same here, he was great. They do seem to have dumped him for some of the new ones.

I do think it is going downhill somewhat, as is always the danger with catchphrase comedy. There's only so long you can stretch out the same gags.

Thing is, the 'disabled' characters aren't actually disabled - they're just freeriding off the state and in doing so are extremely aptly parodying the sort of people who fraudulently claim incapacity benefit. Andy and Lou are probably the best comic creations as such since Blackadder.

And this is why Little Britain pisses off the Grauniad so much - they just don't get it because it attacks all the lentil-chewing notions they stand for.

Used to find it funny, but it's just soooooooo repetitive now, they're wringing every last ounce out of the characters and for me, it's just lost it.

Overall, a bit

Sadly its not as good but thats familiarity for you.

Man Strokes Woman however is WELL worth a look. The new Little Britain (without the catchphrases) without doubt.
