Just taken a look that their website - seems that my car is a sinner in the scope of fuel consumption and emissions!!! Oh well, I guess I will just have to drive past her house a few times then
According to official figures, my car is 1.6 tonnes does 16MPG around town and kicks out 288 gCo2. Ho hum.... which is better for the environment then? A diesel Honda CRV or my fuel sucking monster?
As said - no getting through to her I feel...

I suppose this is a modern variation on the psychology of the protagonist in the medieval practice of witch burning, insofar as the mindset at hand needs an object of demonisation against which to rail and remind itself that somewhere, inside their dormant organ of a brain, lurks the dim spark of cogniscence.
It is purely because of the offence taken by these snivelling worms that I personally salute the grotesque posturing of outrages like the Cayenne Turbo.

4x4's are often smaller in whelcase than larger exec cars, or estate cars. Their co2 emmissions are regulated, and as such are within the law. They pay fuel tax, road tax, the fuel efficiency is a lot better than they sued to be. She said don't drive a 4x4, even if you have 6 kids. Drive a people carrier... Why would that be different. many 4x4 have a 2wd mode for regular driving. She has no idea what she is on about, jumps on the bandwagon, etc. She uses the buses... well unfortuantley they churn out shedloads of co2

Same here, I tended to thinking urban 4x4's were a bit of a waste before clowns like this came along, I still do, but only because devices such as Dodge Rams or Hummers cause much more consternation
