Best flu/cough remedies???
Discussion
So here goes, went to bed last Friday feeling fine, wake up Saturday head full of flu, the evil strain known as 'manflu'!
Dosed up with the usual Lemsip Max Strangth etc and managed to raise myself from my pit Tuesday afternoon. I am getting better but have been left with a bit of a cough and lack of energy.
Tomorrow night I have a big night out in Bristol and Saturday is of course BT&P, I'm determined not to miss either - any tips?

Not proper flu then...

Wish blokes would stop acting hard when they have a heavy cold and calling it man flu! It's really quite embarressing...
Get well soon though. Onion soup (or raw onions if you can handle it) will work a treat, taken once every couple of hours. Lemsip Max is very good if you do really have flu.
Symptoms of flu include:
* fever (usually high)
* headache
* extreme tiredness
* dry cough
* sore throat
* runny or stuffy nose
* muscle aches
* Stomach symptoms, such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, also can occur but are more common in children than adults
So what ya got?

- classic - I am convinced that if men had periods they would only work three weeks out of four. Back on topic - will second the Sudafed - also Actafed is good too
Try a good hot curry or chilli - spicy food is good
If you just have a runny nose working through shouldn't be a problem, if you have a temperature, then you are better off in bed.
Just make sure you keep your fluid levels topped up.
