Any comments on the movie Sin City, which is based on Frank Millers cartoons?

I thought it was a bit crap to be honest, but then again, I don't read any of those comics...

I thought it was ok first time round, Saw it again on dvd the other day and thought it was miles better second time round.

I thought it was genius. Read the graphic novels since and I'm suprised just how accurate to them the film stayed.

The violence is some of the best in any film I've seen. Brutal but entertaining.

Did anyone notice the similarities in story telling with Max Payne?

Yes, yes, Ernest, we will. We're just in the middle of discussing a film at the moment, though.....
