Wasn´t able to keep the flu away, garlic trick didn´t work.

That´s good to know, I need all the defense now. Manage to get some sleep but feeling like I´m floating on the twilight zone

Too late now, but keep your feet warm. The Cold Research Centre found that if subjects kept their feet in ice-cold water, they got more colds than those who didn't. The cold water reduces blood circulation to the nose, theory being that there are then fewer white cells there to fight infection.

Thats it. I'm going to stop sitting here with my feet in a bucket of ice-cold water then.

Hmm. Brings back memories of my business trips to Helsinki. So many of them seemed to happen during the colder months rather than the warmer month.
The perpetual twilight days, briefly seen sometimes from a taxi on the way to the offices, always seemed to be somehow distanced by the residual effects of the previous evening's socialising. Not always like floating but often close. There were many "4 coffees before we start" days.
There must be some sort of traditional Suomi tincture that provides instant relief surely?
