Hey - I've finally registered here so I too can join in the fun and not have to pester the other half to post my views (which he doesn't do often because half the time he doesn't want to be associated with my ideas )

See ya'll around

I have a Clio (hides head in shame) but I'm currently trying to persuade my scroogy side to buy myself a nice little motor. But I hate car shopping - always get made to feel like a complete retard and stupid blond female...and Ebay isn't an option

You also have to convince the other half that the depreciation costs are worth it! Naturally, the car also has to meet his approval standards

well, was thinking C Class coupe (will give me better job prospects I reckon - even if I talk absolute rubbish I'll look like a business woman or a pink Jazz...always wanted a pink jazz purely because it is pink. The other idea was a TT

Definitely go for the pink Jazz, then the other half won't want to borrow it.

TT's are nice. Not enough seats for my brood though unfortunately.

He's half way there driving his mothers blue jazz but the TT is a lovely beast (well, from a females perspective) and shows the joys of not having children - also will give me an excuse not to give drunk friends lifts home - had a nasty experience with already eaten pizza all over every bit of the car...never ever again..

My husband did that to my P & J years ago, said it was my fault for going round the corners too sharply. Personally I think it had a lot to do with him not knowing when he'd had enough.

I can't complain though, I have free reign with the cerb when he's away.

Sort of got my own back not long after. Asked him to bring some milk home after work, and the top came off and milk went all over the carpets. Took him weeks to get rid of the smell of sour milk.

LOL - I shall remember that for future reference I can only imagine the stench of a whole bottle of rancid milk, all I have for comparison is a half empty cup of tea that had been sitting on the desk for 2 weeks. I kept accusing the other half of not washing his feet, then started sniffing the keyboard to see if it really was that grubby finally tracked it down :S
