Has been a lovely day in Yorkshire so I nipped home at lunchtime and came back to work in the TVR..naturally with the roof down. So I hope all you TVR drivers have done the same.

Didnt have chance but got out on Sunday. 2pm girlfriend suggests an hour out in the car. Good idea, take off roof, leave at home, go for run..... 135 miles and 4 hours later, nearly home, pitch black and frosty.( Inside the car as well as outside.!!!!)Girlfriend frozen even with heator on full blast.! The moral to this story is, ALWAYS TAKE THE ROOF....You know how it is once you get driving.!!

Yep, Ive been home every lunchtime for the past couple of days to get the Cerb--even had my Oakleys on today!.

the day was even more perfect yesterday as i saw off a 911 turbo or a GT2/3 not sure which but whatever it was it was up my ass to 130mph and then i started losing him off the back onwards from that ....all on our private runway

59fan. The names Mad Mitch, not Stupid Mitch ... Coates and hats were worn, its just that it got very cold when dark and we were on open roads that were pretty draughty at 70mph plus.....

Ahh, plus you are well north.
I was out in mine at 6am this morning on the south coast (A/M27).....oh my god it was cold...oddly my thumbs suffered most, must invest in some glove liners.

At least the Chim has a targa option to help keep warm air in.

Just keep extra jacket, gloves, scarf etc in the car to abuse any sunny day opportunity!

Why, oh why do I live in London & keep a Chimaera??? It hardly gets driven... and even it does, we just sit in traffic. Time to move, me thinks!

Same here mine comes out once during the week if i'm lucky but usually wait untill the rush hour traffic has gone, then usually if i'm lucky on a sat AND sun will go for a drive (presuming weathers o.k)

Yep, Wednesday was similar just over the Pennines: I was out with the roof off! It looks the same today, too. Once the frost has gone the roof will have to come off again!

With the weather like it is at the moment i reckon i will be dressed more like an eskimo, will be a big test for the heater.

I think the drive over to Harrogate on Sunday morning will be a roofless adventure the way the weathers looking
