LIVE 8 DVD box set

[allnighter]

As well as contributing towards making poverty history , this dvd box set is magnificent as far as music is concerned , with both Dolby 5.1 and DTS 5.1 sound present , it makes a fantastic listening experience especially in DTS.

Looking forward to watching Pink Floyd "reunited" doing what they do best : play live music!!

The box set comes with 4 DVDs and a booklet.

I highly recommend it.

How much?

I only really want The Who and Floyd anyway.

And who is it raising money for?

I got mine off Canada , wanted it earlier than the British release .

Price is $35.67 CAD free shipping from www.dvdboxoffice.com , it took 7 days to deliver.EMI released the dvd with BOB GELDOF and EMI is a strong supporter of LIVE 8 Trust.

The DVD is "region free" , so it plays on any dvd in the world.

Can I ask a couple of particularly stupid questions? Isn't the Canadian release of Live8 the, erm, Canadian concert? And the UK release the Hyde Park concert?

[andy mac]

I'd rather buy The Wall, Berlin!! or The Wall, the movie/musical/what is it? Live 8 wasn't a patch on Live Aid... They had too many 'one hit wonders' playing, and not enough artistes...

The box set has 4 DVDs in it , covering all concerts which took place on the day all over the world . So everything is there.

The same box set is for sale here in England for £29.99.

However you could buy online a LIVE 8 DVD of a specific concert in a specific country if you wish.
