Some of you will already know Ian of torque rvt in Middlewich .. I'd spoken to him on the phone earlier in the year and thought he sounded great but our respective busy schedules had prevented us meeting. I also heard from a few very pleased customers about his quality of work and comitment to customers..
well I had the great pleasure of meeting Ian yesterday and I was wrong. He's not great he's blinking fantastic. What a top fella-me-lad he is!
I've been recommending Ian for a few months now based on just the initial impressions I'd got from the phone and word of mouth .. I can unreservedly, wholeheartedly recommend him now.
In the world of TVR it's always good to hear of hard working, honest and reliable people .. Ian's your man!
He left my workshop at about 8pm last night, had to get back to Middlewich to start working again! .. he's just like me in that respect - it was like looking in the mirror (except i'm more handsome obviously!)
Good on ya Ian .. you're going to clean up in the North West and beyond!

He is a fantastic mechanic and a great laugh to boot. You always get a warm welcome and a cup of hot water
Heck, Ian even puts up with me turning up most days, although I am going to knock that on the head before he gets annoyed with me (if he hasn't already).
TBH I can't recommend him and the rest of the crew highly enough.
And then we have JooJoo...what a top bloke he is, knows his stuff, can drive a bit and is a hoot to be around.
A night out is on the cards I think, someone warn the police in Manchester that 2 loony's and a Cooky and a Claire will be out and about.

You lot are very lucky to have the likes of Ian oop Cheshire way but when you look around the UK the luck continues, Andy at APM, Toby at TVR Fix, David Batty, Guglielmi, Steve Howard, Warren etc etc the list goes on.
My point is that if you ask around the forums, there are some very good guys out there. Even Joo isn't too bad

yea... lammy is a top sort of fella... works too hard though..... but you can guarentee that there will be a fag, a cup of strong coffee and a conversation at the garage 24 hrs a day........ even on clairs birthday....
