Just worked out how to transfer video to mobile phone format

Download some shareware software. I found it last night and within 10 mins had transfered some of my vids to mobile 3gp format.

Here is the software I used (free download version only allows you to convert up to 2 mins of vid). But it took a 500mb AVI file down to a 3mb mobile phone file in 5 mins.

I had to play with some of the settings to get the quality/size balance about right (upped the frame rate to 25, set bit rate to 300, and set "same quality" to false (with "same quality" set to "true" tended to get 20mb files rather than 2-4mb).

I also tried out their AVI to mp4, vcd, svcd etc. Worked really well.
