Biggest bet won or lost with a mate

[bmw114]

I remember back in June 1998 having a bet with a friend, he said he would buy a VW Golf VR6 before the year 2000.
Now i`m not normally a gambling man but i bet him £50.

He got a Golf GTI and i got £50, result...

I know £50 is`nt alot these days but who is prepared to admit to the biggest loss or win?, I`m talking about a bet with a mate not with the Bookies.

one of the brokers bet one of our IT developers his car against Greece winning the European Cup - oops!

The developer was Greek and the car was a Ferrari......

Give the guy his due, he did hand over the car.

A mate bet me £500 to quit smoking. Quit. Won £500!
