Wahoo!! First Commute......

Woke up this morning to see it was actually dry out so I decided to take the car to work during rush hour.
Bloody typical, both the M11 and A406 were jammed, so spent ½ hour at 10mph max.
On a plus side I popped the fans on override and the temp never went above 90 degrees (actually it seemed happy to sit at about 82 for most of it). I never expected it to be this good so I now intend to try it again next week
Once the traffic cleared it was a blast all the way into The Wharf with people pulling cameras out to take pictures along the way. This is a hoot!!
My grin hasn't worn off yet as I've also spent the morning giving colleagues a spin around the local roads.

Go on, go on - give us a blow-by-blow account of your colleagues reation, and what happened when/if/no - when you got silly whilst they were in the passenger seat!
Most of my colleagues have listened to me go on about the build/car for the last 12 months.
The two guys who went out in it this morning were very impressed with the ride quality, they thought it would be much harsher than it was and definatley alot noisier.
They did enjoy the trip round the roundabout though on the way back but I think they wanted the back end to come out as opposed to just grip and take us round.
Sadly for them I'm still running the engine in so it doesn't go above 4500rpm (but hey that still 130mph+)
Funny thing has just happened to, came back into the office to receive a mail from someone that saw me in the car outside to say his colleague is also building a GTR! How common are they round here!!
