Soon as I aquired my S2 at 5k miles I swapped the original pads with R42s for track pleasure. Just came across the old pads and wonder if they are worth anything ? They have more material than the new Pagids did !

Rear 6mm Apec 1356 www.apec-braking.co.uk/apec_detail.asp?partno=PAD+1356&manufacturer=LOTUS

If I'm being a bit pikey just say so.

I'm assuming they are used? If so they are worth nothing. Nobody in their right mind would put secondhand pads on their car. May be worth keeping for yourself if you are so minded.

Yes they have 5k miles on them ... you calling me pikey ?

Anyway surprised to find such noname pads fitted OEM by Lotus. Turns out my local mortorfactors knows of them and they are like £40 new the lot (with the vat sir). I really didn't know you could get pads that cheep, and I do wonder what Lotus dealers charge them out at.
