The g/f's new Cooper has an empty coolant bottle. The thing has only done 2400 miles! Anyone know where it went, and what stuff I need to buy to fill it up with?

Assume you mean radiator coolant?
An antifreeze/water mix should be fine, but I'd take it back to the garage as it's obviously got a problem.
