Ok, I'm guessing that about 80%, if not more of you are at work. So what are you supposed to be doing right now, but which you put off to have a 'quick look' at pistonheads?

I'm running engine tests, it affords me a lot of time to 'research' on the net as they take about 40 minutes to complete and there are three cycles in each test.

No day off for me.

I'm supposed to be giving the answer to an impossible question by using a vast array of baffling maths to prove that a random event is infact not random because my current employers do not understand that math models are infact constrained by the real world that they model.

The conversations I have are currently circular..... me "it's a random process", them "yes but you can build an equation to predict it right"......, me "Er it's random", them "look we need you to answer this question"......me "I'll just go an fetch my axe".

So in the meantime I'm wadering around the PH website and looking for a house in Brazil.

Im supposed to be at work but the hot water on my boiler packed up so had the day off for British Gas to come and fix it. It was done hours ago so I could have gone into work this aftenoon but thought I might as well have the whole day off.

I'm just test rendering a medieval village digital matte for a game.

Takes a long time, and I often set it off on a test render for 15 or 20 mins, leaving my PC helplessly busy, only enough CPU power left to browse PH for a bit

I'm supposed to be writing about the engine tests I've already done but writing about them is the only thing more boring than doing them.

Supposed to be working on my PhD thesis. Very little motivation to do it though. Much rather surf here (my soon to be ex-lab ) until it's time to go to work

I'm trying to summon up the motivation to finish a semi-quantified Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality analysis of a top-tensioned, hybrid riser in 1400 m of water.

Oh sorry, did I make you drop off before you got to the end of that sentence. I do apologise.
