On the telly tonight I noticed that they are advertising a new DVD of Titanic with an alternative ending. The only alternative I can think of is that the ship doesn't sink!

So what is this (elusive) alternative ending - does anyone know?

And, before anyone mentions it, I realise this could be a 'spoiler' but we're talking about Titanic here, not a good movie.

Perhaps it was all just a horrible dream and he wakes up to discover his water bed is leaking?

the original was good, this was dire in comparison, granted the special effects were amazing, but the original just has that 'thing' about it.

something that did make me laugh in the new one was the fact at the end the search guys on the boats were searching with 1 million candle power torchs used in the x files film. funny considering its supposed to be 1912!

That begs the question, "how do you know?"
