I'd decided to cycle to work on Wednesday morning as it was dry at the time and the weather forecast was that it would be mostly dry inland. Well, didn't it just pour down, and didn't I get soaked on my way home ?! But, guess what ? When I got inside, dripping wet, I was greeted by a postcard from that fat git Clarkson on my door mat. There were two photos of him, on one side he was grinning and giving a cheery wave, and on the other he was looking excruciatingly cute. For some reason he was demanding to know why I hadn't booked to go to some car show or other.

I must say I'd never been so happy to see his countenance, it gave me great pleasure to stick my boot in both his faces and the subsequent war dance on the card warmed and cheered me up just nicely on a miserable afternoon.

Cheers Jezza mate ! Now off and don't write to me again !!!!!

And why on earth does he want to invite a Corvette fan to a car show, I thought he didn't like them!

Yes! Calm down there, it could have been far worse, it could have been an invite to a dinner party, followed by a heart to heart on car design in his drawing room
Can you still read the return address? Get on your PC & make your own card, one side showing you scowling & the other showing you looking far from cute, both with pictures of your Vette prominently displayed & send it to him with a polite **** off

IMO Clarkson is good entertainment. Just had a look at the Top Gear cool wall

Sub Zero - Ford GT
Cool - Holden Monaro
Uncool - Porsche 911
Seriously Uncool - Porsche Carrera Cabrio

Now that's entertaining!

The Stig is Ben Collins.

(One of my neighbours has a son who works on the show.)
