Don't bet on me, last time i got drunk, I couldn't remember half of it the following morning..........still remember the hang over though. It was just like this

edited to say, that was before my son was born 10 years ago, couldn't get drunk after the kids were born, who'd look after them?

I dont like it, I like to have a few drinks and get merry, I like to be nicely simmering, but I hate being drunk/pissed/paraletic whatever you want to call it. I havent been really drunk with a killer hangover for about ten years. The spinning room, talking to Huey down the big white telephone, feeling desperately ill for the next day, not being able to look a fried egg in the face. I really, really hate it.

Maybe three or four pints, a bottle of wine or two, then a few single malts, sleep well and wake up with a more or less clear head. That'll do me just fine.

Blimey, what do you need to drink to get a hangover BG?

I've never been drunk. (Yeah right) Seriously though, I know someone who has - never been drunk that is.

I had a flatmate who'd never been drunk - she was something of a control freak and couldn't bear the thought of losing control of herself.

Shared a bottle of wine with her one night, and she was a giggling wreck - great fun compared to what she was normally like

That wouldn't be me then. When I started my job in November 2000 I very rarely drank. Went on the company Christmas Dinner one Friday in December, and could swear on my hair that I only had 3 drinks all day (started drinking at 11am).

I couldn't walk or talk without assistance and had to get Trackside to come and pick me up from a club. It was 6.00 pm. I went straight to bed and stayed that until Sunday!

one bloke from my halls last year swore that he had never been drunk but every time he went out to an establishment that served gods finest gift to this world he very nearly ended killing someone simply cos he didnt like people getting in "his space"!!!!!

i think he realised that maybe he had been drunk when he spent over 3 hours getting up close and personal with a toilet after relocating most of a bottle of whisky to warmer a warmer environment!

I have never been drunk. That's the truth. I went to a Baptist-affiliated university (ironic, I suppose, for someone who's not religious at all), and they had a dry campus, so there wasn't much partying culture. And, I've only recently found a wine that I didn't mind the taste of. Most alcohol is just too bitter, so I never aquired a taste for it. I usually can't finish a glass of wine because of the bitterness.

There's no high-minded principle involved in the fact that I don't drink, and I don't think less of anyone who does.

So there you are. Terribly dull, aren't I?
