TVR wanabees!

After reading Lady Di's column in Sprint this month I had to chuckle to myself. In this month's column Di refers to people who claim to be part of the TVR fraternity but don't really know what they are on about! (we've all met them)
This brought to mind a recent-ish conversation I had whilst queueing in the toilet of my local, it went like this....

Expert - 'You drive that TVR don't you?'

Me - 'erm, yes.'

Expert - 'Chimaera isn't it?'

Me - 'Yep'

Expert - 'I'm more of a Cerbera man myself'

Me - 'Cool, what year is your Cerb?'

Expert - 'Oh, I don't drive a Cerb'

Me - 'Oh, so what do you drive?'

Expert - 'Cavalier'

I vaguely remember someone posting on here about a chap he spoke with at a garage whilst filling up his cer, chap said to him my Dads got one of them but an auto...

I was stopped by a guy with a company van who told me he had the exact same car (mind you i have the only 400se in The Netherlands....) and gave me a compliment on the nice bodykit.. I then said i was in a hurry and took off.

Probably thought it was a vauxhaul astra with a great bodykit!
