Advice needed on very poorly s2
Discussion
We have badly mistreated our ancient (1988?) s2 over past two years and it has got very damp in a leaking garage - the garage has been spruced up and we sent it off to be MOT'd etc and the chassis is apparently rotten.
Would anyone like a "project"?
What is it worth?
Anyone in Bristol area wanting to share a car?
I know these are stupid questions but I don't want to be ripped off.

chassis rot can be a number of things did they specify outriggers or trailing arms ?
depending on state of main chassi struts everything else is repairable within reason
out riggers £500 to £2500 depending on who and where and how much work involved
trailing arms £600 + if the interior in mouldy and damp that will depreciate more
also engine is probably in need of some work also
but as a rebuild project around £1500 is probably about average price
it alls comes down to the state of the car as a whole
