On sunday we had,

Elise + Motorway + strong_wind + Standing_water / river + Angry_Focus_driver+ Wet_leaves = sailing_a_kite-while avoiding a fight and trying very hard to stay on road.

This must be the reason I wear brown underwear every time I drive near Gooby. (me sadly being the inadvertant creator/instigator of the angry ford driver).

I did have one serious loss of front wheel feel on the wet motorway in the wind on the day that Gooby describes. Sobering+++ Haven't found it an issue in the dry yet. I might add though that I was treated to a fine display of car billiards on the M27 on Sunday with a couple of cars bouncing off each other in various directions. Fortunately fender bending rather than people destructive. I was glad to be a spectator rather than involved.

Elise + Silverstone + strong_wind + standing_water + folk_overtaking_on_left_and_right_and_corners = time to go home.
