Independent Servicing - BMW Z3 M Roadster
Discussion
Hi all,
A month or so ago, I part exchanged my Clio 182 (great hot hatch, i recommend one) for something a bit more brutal, the BMW M Roadster. It's a superb head turning car, obviously more expensive to run and it will be due an oil change fairly soon (within the next 4-6 months) and an MOT due end of January 2006.
My question is, to save some cash, is it worth putting my beemer into an independent for the servicing? I phoned my closest specialist (Deutsch Marque www.deutschmarque.co.uk/) which is in Edinburgh who quoted £350 inc vat/parts/labour for an inspection 2 which seemed like a decent price compared to Eastern Motor Co's £635 (~£461 of that is labour!) for an inspection 2. I'm not too fussed about a Stealership stamp, but I want quality servicing all the same.
Are there any Scottish BMW owners on here that could give me some advice or insight?
Many thanks
G
